The U12 Girls Select soccer team was a finalist at the SC Waukesha May Madness tournament, played May 6th and 7th in Waukesha.
The girls went undefeated in pool play, with wins over the KMSC Wildcats 3-0, Verona Wildcats 3-1, and the Black Magic Scorpions 5-1.
The team came up just a tad short in the championship game, losing to SC Slinger in an overtime shoot out 3-1.
The team, coached by Sam Sucevic, include as pictured: Sarah Creegan, Erica Engstrand, Taylor Konicke, Sheila Kilb, Kerry Johnson, Lauren Engelhart, Carly Radiske, Hannah Leverson, Moira Schuneman, and Katie Haeberle. Not pictured are Tess Spaltholz and Gwen Chamberlin.
