2006 Winter Training

The Elm Grove Fire Juniors, the youth player development partner of Major League Soccer and Chicago Fire, announced today that it has agreed to sponsor a Winter Training Program for all members of the EGSC.

EGSC Director of Coaching Boro Sucevic says, "As a youth club, we are inundated with letters asking us to look at players, recommend players to colleges and pros, and to create a positive learning environment for youth players during the winter months. We are delighted to have a place to direct our players for training in January, February, March and April."

"Furthermore, the culture of training outdoors during the winter months is our ultimate goal," adds Sucevic.

Dates January 4th thru April 15th
Times Wednesday nights from 5:00-6:30pm and
Saturday afternoons from 12:00-2:00pm
Players should arrive 10 minutes early for proper warm-up.
Location St. Mary's Catholic Church
Training Regular training session on Wednesdays, tournament format on Saturdays.
Equipment Players must wear waterproof clothing, have plastic bags between 2 layers of socks, hat, gloves, ball, appropriate shoes, something to drink.
Attitude Players should arrive with appropriate training attitude towards practice.
