Top Select Team Performances in Spring 2005 Season

Congratulations go out to these EGSC select teams for their fine performances in the Spring 2005 outdoor season.

Girls

Steve Bernal's U11 Academy finished 3rd in SECL A league with 5-2-1 record. The team went undefeated at the Dynamo Round Robin in Indianapolis, took 2nd at EG Spring Cup, and won the Flatgrass Regional Showdown. They are ranked #2 in Wisconsin.
Sam Sucevic's U12 Academy finished 3rd in 1st Division with 4-1-2 record.
Danny Madrigal's U13 Academy finished 1st in Premier with perfect 7-0 record, outscoring opponents 26-3. These girls travelled throughout the midwest and played a tough tourny schedule of regionally and nationally ranked teams. They are ranked #1 in Wisconsin, and are also highly ranked in the midwest Region II, and nationally.
Madrigal's U13 Select finished 2nd in SECL A with 6-1-1 record, outscoring opponents 26-6. The girls will be promoted to First Division for Fall 2005 U14 play. In tournaments, the team finished second in the EG Spring Cup, then won the Croation Eagles Tourny and the Flatgrass Regional Showdown.
Shannon Jarboe's U14 Kixx finished 3rd in Premier with 4-2-1 record.

Boys

Robin Dorschner's U11 Academy finished 2nd in MYRSL A with 5-2-0 record. The boys won the EG Spring Cup, and are ranked #2 in Wisconsin.
Jamie Schmelzer's U12 Express finished 4th in Premier with 3-3-1 record, and are ranked #4 in the state.
Dan Makal's U12 Arsenal finished 4th in MYRSL B with 3-2-1 record.
Dorschner's U13 Academy finished 4th in Premier with 3-2-1 record. The team is ranked 5th in the state.
Digital Takawira's U14 Fire finished 5th in MYRSL A with 4-4-0 record.
Schmelzer's U16 Premier finished 4th in Premier with 3-2-2 record. They advanced to State Cup semi-finals, and finished ranked 3rd in state
Joe Gonzalez's U17 United finished 3rd in Premier with 4-1-1 record, and are ranked #3 in the state.
John Meser's U18 Villagers finished 4th in Premier with 2-2-3 record.
