2005 Select Tryouts

Tryouts

Selection to an EGSC team is through competitive tryouts, which are held in June and July of each year for the following August 1 through July 31 playing season. Tryouts for U11 through U14 teams are held on or after the first Monday in June. Tryouts for U15 and older boys teams are held on or after the first Monday in July; U15 and older girls tryouts are held following the conclusion of the spring high school season in mid-June.

Tryouts are held on weeknights at the Elm Grove Village Park, and are conducted by the club's Pro Coaching Staff. Typically there are two nights of tryouts for a given team; a third session may be held if deemed necessary by the coach, or in the event of rain.

Younger U11-U14 Age Groups

For all U11-U14 players not making the Academy team, there will be an additional tryout on Friday June 10th for the Select and Competitive teams. Club wide registration will take place Saturday June 11th. Exact time and place TBD.

U15 and Older Girls and Boys

Coaches and/or Managers for the U15+ teams are reminded to inform the club (and the webmaster) of their tryout dates and times so the information can be posted here!!
