Top Select Team Performances in Fall 2004 Season

Congratulations go out to these EGSC select teams for their fine performances in the Fall 2004 outdoor season.

Boys

Robin Dorschner's U11 Academy team finished in a tie for 1st place in the MYRSL A1 league with a 6-1-0 record, and also claimed the championship at the BOMW tournament. They are currently ranked 3rd in the state.
Jamie Schmelzer's U12 Express claimed the WYSA Premier league title with a 4-1-2 record. The team was a semi-finalist at the Libertyville Octoberfest Tournament, and a finalist at the MK Pepsi Cup. They are ranked #1 in the state, and are also highly ranked in the midwest Region II.
Dan Makal's U12 Arsenal also took first in their MYRSL C league with a 6-1-1 record.
Dorschner's U13 Academy team also did well, with a 2-3-2 record in the WYSA Premier league, good for a share of 4th place. They are also highly ranked in the state.

Girls

Steve Bernal's U11 Academy team took 3rd in the SECL A league, with a 3-1-3 record. They were also finalists at the Waukesha Augustfest Tournament.
Our U11 Select team, coached by Sam Sucevic, finished with a 4-2-1 record in the SECL B league, good for 2nd place.
Danny Madrigal's U13 Academy team (formerly Elite) finished in a tie for 1st place in the WYSA Premier league with a 6-1-0 record, and a 25-4 scoring margin over their opponents. The team won the NSR Cup, and also had strong performances at the Powerhouse, BOMW, and Palatine Celtic Cup Tournaments. This team is ranked #1 in Wisconsin, and is also highly ranked in the midwest Region II, and nationally.
Madrigal's U13 Select team, where he is assisted by Digital Takawira, was a perfect 9-0-0 in their SECL B league with a whopping 41-1 scoring advantage, which will reward the girls with a promotion for the spring. The team also did well in tournaments, taking 2nd in Hartford and winning the U13 White division at the Palatine Celtic Cup.
The U15 Rage finished with a 4-1-2 record and 3rd place in the SECL A league. The team will have a new coach next year.
Lee Roger's U16 Extreme took 4th in the WYSA Premier league with a 2-2-1 record. They are highly ranked in the state.
The U17 Explosion, coached by Thom Blackmore, took 4th in their WYSA Premier league with a 3-3-1 record. They also took second place at Libertyville and won the Augustfest tournament in Waukesha.
John Hovel's U18 Echo also gathered a 4th place finish with a 4-2-1 record in their SECL B league.
