Elite Captures EGSC Memorial Day and Neenah Flatgrass Tournaments
The Elm Grove Elite, EGSC's U12A Girls select soccer team, claimed championships in their final two
tournaments of the 2004 spring season. They won the rain-shortened EGSC Memorial Day Tournament, played May 29-30
in Elm Grove. They then followed that up by winning the Neenah Flatgrass Tournament, played June 5-6 in Neenah.
In Elm Grove for the holiday weekend, the girls defeated the Howard Hurricanes, Pewaukee Lady Pirates, and the LCU Eclipse
by a combined 10-1 margin to claim the championship.
In Neenah, the team defeated the Neenah Naturals 2-0, Appleton Inferno 6-0, and LCU Eclipse 2-1 in their three pool games.
In the final, the girls defeated the Appleton Flame 2-0 to bring home the first place trophies.
