Director of Coaching: Bob Spielmann Coach Spielmann, one of the most respected soccer figures in the state as well as regionally and nationally, comes to EGSC with an unparalleled resume highlighted by a 27 year stint as Head Coach at Marquette University High School. During this time, Coach Spielmann accomplished the following: o Overall record of 532 wins, 73 loses, 40 draws o 21 conference championships o 20 state championships and 4 state runner-up finishes o 10 consecutive seasons ranked nationally o 11 coach of the year honors, including state and regional o 9 NSCAA All-American players o 18 NSCAA Midwest Regional players o 5 WI Gatorade Player of the year players o 2 Parade All-Americans Additional coaching stops at the professional (Milwaukee Wave United) collegiate (University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee) high school (Divine Savior Holy Angels) and club (Bavarian SC, FC Milwaukee) levels round out Coach Spielmann’s coaching resume. In recognition of his accomplishments, Coach Spielmann was inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2002. Coach Spielmann is also a USSF ‘A’ License Coach. Coach Spielmann and the U15 Boys team currently won the DOUBLE, capturing the State Cup and 1st place in the WYSA Boys Premier Division of the State League.
